FOUR CENTURIES WITHOUT DEVELOPMENT IN AFRICA?

I know I will sound controversial on this matter but I must tell the world my stand... What were the gains of slave trade on the soil of Africa? The only evidence of the Western-engined Trans-Africa Slave Trade is castles and forts on the shores of Africa.
For over 400 years of slave trade, no schools were built, no hospitals were built and no roads were built. Even rails built were used in transporting stolen natural resources to the ports not with the intention of developing Africa.
Schools and Hospitals we see today like Adisadel, Mfantsipim, Achimota, Korle Bu Hospital and few others were built only to serve the interest of the British government not Ghanaians especially in the case of Ghana.
The Portuguese, Dutch, Danes, Germans, all built only forts and castles. So tell me today that the Western world want your development? No Western nation wants Africa developed so as Africans we need to stand up and build our nations.
No institutions like World Bank and IMF are interested in the growth of Africa so let's stop hoping on them? How many factories are built by World Bank in Africa?
Personally, I don't hope in any Western nation to build Africa. What they build are military bases to protect their loots and nothing else. Chew on it Africans! I am John Kofi Annan, I am a Pan-Africanist.
